Well what a start to the week. Many thanks, Marc, for getting this going. I have had to ring him and find out how on earth I log on et le voila!! The moral is to look carefully at the instructions at the top of the screen and act accordingly. I shall eventually understand how to use it and even add some pictures perhaps. I am now the third person in the family to blog, D & C and S & E being the others. Everyone enjoys keeping up with them. I am not so sure that our life will be so interesting but I have many of the poems etc. which I have done over the years.
It would be traditional and proper and right to make the comment that the weather is very spring-like today, as it was yesterday. I do not think that information about the weather would make a particularly interesting read and so I shall not mention it. Once back upon the boat it might be of interest since it may determine the direction of the day.
Only a very small offering for the day. It is quite probable that this will replace the daily jottings with which I have filled my computer.
Today Mama fell over again and looks as if she has been in a fight. She is tough, has slept during the day and seems to have recovered somewhat. She will need watching over the next few days. Un-nerving to say the least. Back off up to the boat tomorrow and the reality of working life.

Welcome
I have just set up this blog for Chris so he can keep us updated with details of his recent gigs, state of his boat and more importantly just how many of the baby ducks have survived. However, before Chris posts anything I really should tell him that this blog exists a conversation which might precede a 'what is a blog' lecture!
